The process analysis in the project management in Automotive sphere
Nováková, Lucie ; Bartoška, Jan (advisor) ; Jan, Jan (referee)
The thesis is focused on the analysis of processes in project management in the automotive sphere. After a short introduction of selected company is discribed life cycle of engagement. In the analytical part of thesis is metodically designed procedure for the analysis of ongoing processes in lifecycle of engagement. Qualitative description of the processes is converted into process models in notation BMPN and after are created tables for more detailed processes analysis. Based on the analysis and knowledge of the tools of project management are for the weaknesses of the processes recommended tools for their elimination.
Process Reengineering in XEROX CZECH REPUBLIC s.r.o.
Marcínová, Alice ; Bartoška, Jan (advisor) ; Petra, Petra (referee)
This Master Thesis focuses on the process management in the selected company. Basic terms of the process management are identified and the main tools for process modelling are described in the Thesis. ARIS Express which is used for mapping and optimizing of selected processes is described in more details. The thesis contains basic information about the company and describes the department in which selected processes are mapped. The main part is focused on analysis of the selected processes, a suggestion for process optimization along with metrics for the establishment of optimized processes. In conclusion a summary of all findings is introduced. The evaluation of the contribution of the Thesis for selected processes improvement by the management of XEROX CZECH REPUBLIC s. r. o. is introduced too.
Preventing Loss of Knowledge in the Organization through Process Reengineering
Šafránek, Jakub ; Zelená, Veronika (advisor) ; Váchová, Lucie (referee)
The goal of thesis is to find a solution of a problem in organization Colour Group s. r. o. This problém consists in repeated loss of knowledge and apply the solution to specific business venture. The solution is in clearly defined procedures of implemented processes and installation an elements of a knowledge management. The main tool of this solution will leveraging existing ICT options. Outputs of this thesis mainly consist mapping and graphical representation of the processes involved and the design of a new proces The methodology used in this thesis is mainly based on the methodology of reengineering by T. Davenport and is complemented by additional indicators like: calculation of declarative knowledge, which used the workers, and that the organization will lose if the process of reengineering not happen.
Business Process Reengineering of ESN VŠE Prague – Buddy System and theirs support by information system
Průcha, Ondřej ; Mittner, Jan (advisor) ; Buchalcevová, Alena (referee)
Diploma thesis is about business process reengineering (BPR) and its business processes in student organization ESN VSE Prague -- Buddy System. Main goal is business process reengineering and their support by information system BuddyIS, which helps to meet stu-dent's requirements. First chapter debates about processes theirs modelling and reengineer-ing. It discusses methodologies of BPR in general and then it chooses own methodology for this thesis. Next part is practical and starts with characteristic and analysis of student organization ESN VSE Prague -- Buddy System. It describes cultural environment, current status of IS/ICT and global process model. Global process model is core for next chapter, which identifies processes in organization and chooses those ones for reengineering. Those chosen processes are analysed more in detailed in detailed process diagram based on BPMN. Next part is considering process redesign based on awareness and understanding their workflow. According to redesign, proposed changes are implemented to information system BuddyIS based on principles of OpenUP. Last chapter analyses aftereffects caused by business process reengineering according to process audit made by M. Hammer (PEMM) and chosen factor measuring process performance. Fact that, chosen business processes are supported by information system BuddyIS is main benefit of this thesis.
Information system of process-driven SME
Mareček, Jaromír ; Řepa, Václav (advisor) ; Bruckner, Tomáš (referee)
The thesis deals with the development of an information system in terms of small and medium-sized process-driven organizations. The main objectives of the study is to analyze the requirements of IS process-driven SMEs, further analyze the problems in the creation of this IS, generalize the obtained conclusions and formulate methodical recommendations for the creation of the information process-driven SMEs. The thesis consists of the first, more theoretical part and the second more practical part, which is based on the knowledge formulated in the first part. The thesis builds on experience gained by author in the project of reengineering processes and information system design in a small process-driven organization. All procedures are illustrated for better understanding and verified on specific company from the project. The thesis is written in sufficiently general, however, that its conclusions and recommendations are applicable to the greatest number of process-driven SMEs. The first part presents the basic principles of process management, improvement and reengineering business processes and examines the relationship of information system and business of organization. The contribution of this part is mainly to clarify the role of IS in the process-driven organization, which must be respected in the development of IS. The second part of the thesis analyze the requirements of the IS process-driven SMEs which are necessary to ensure support of business described in the previous section. It also describes ways to acquire and formulate requirements. Then lists the problems that accompany the creation of the IS in an effort to meet the previous requirements. The thesis ends with the formulation of methodological recommendations for each phase of the creating IS and summary conclusions. Especially is accented the importance of BPR and SOA for the final form of the IS.
